Birthday Scrapbooking

“There are some people in life that make you laugh a little louder, smile a little bigger and live just a little bit better.” – Anon.

I am very blessed to have so many amazing friends who add laughter and colour to my life.

For one of my besties 30th birthday earlier this year I wanted to create a present that celebrated our special friendship that has grown over the last 12 years.

I loved looking back through photos and remembering all the fun times we have shared together. After some consideration I decided that a mini scrapbook would be the best way to capture and treasure some of these moments. I had lots of fun playing around with different paper and scrapbook pieces as well as searching out quotes about friendship and adding these to the book too.

These bunting stickers were one of my favourite scrapbooking finds…

An envelope in the front of the book was the perfect place to add a wee note about how amazing Sally is…

Here are a few of the pages from the scrapbook

I finished the scrapbook with a page of words that remind me of Sally…

It was so great to reflect on what friendship means to me. I am so appreciative of all the people who speak positively into my life. Having a creative outlet to express this for Sally’s birthday was perfect. Hopefully I will find some time to work on a scrapbook for Mila next!
