Simple Flower Garland

Every month we do a wee photo shoot with Mila to mark the occasion of her turning another month older and to have a record of how much she has grown!

With all the beautiful Spring flowers bursting into life out in our garden I decided to make a flower garland for Mila to wear. I love Spring, the freshness in the air, the bright colours and the beautiful smells. This pretty flower garland was such a sweet accessory for our little bundle to wear as we celebrated her turning 5 months old!

  • Florist Tape
  • Ribbon
  • Scissors
  • Flowers

Start by making a loop in each end of the florist wire. Then wrap with florist tape to hide any sharp edges.

Place flowers on the wire starting in the middle and gradually working out to the ends. Secure the flowers in place with the florist tape.

When you are happy with the look of the garland use the florist tape to secure and cover all exposed flower stems. Tie ribbon through the wire loops.

Finished and ready for wearing! For this garland I used fresh flowers but I have made them with dried flowers so that they can be prepared days earlier and wont spoil.

Happy making!
